Starting a new business is a daunting task. The risk of failure, substantial investment and logistics involved in setting up an enterprise can often discourage entrepreneurs even if their ideas are outstanding. The KITE-Technology Incubation Center (KITE-TIC), therefore, aims to provide young, enthusiastic innovators with the opportunity to start their own businesses.

The Center will reduce start up impediments for small companies by providing comfortable, state-of-the-art office spaces equipped with corporate infrastructure, amenities and core services required by small start- ups under one roof. A team of industry professionals will provide the mentorship and guidance that is needed to set up a new enterprise. KITE-TIC also aims at making these startups ready for angel investments and venture funding. KITE Innovation Campus will house well-established businesses in addition to technology startups, therefore enabling students, pursuing undergraduate degrees at the campus, to intern and work for some of these start-ups and other businesses. Students will be able to practice theoretical knowledge and gain excellent exposure in conceptualizing and managing businesses. Meanwhile, new and old companies will be able to exchange ideas and collaborate together for greater innovation. TIC will therefore provide a platform to promote knowledge-based enterprise development, create jobs and economic diversification.
